Live DJ song requests

Your crowd requests.
You decide. You get paid.

Guests scan a QR and request songs with a payment attached. The money is only captured when you accept — declined requests are released automatically.

The DJ app is heading to both stores. Guests never need an app.

How it works

Three steps. Zero friction.

Guests use their phone browser — nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

1

Scan

A guest scans your event QR and opens your request page in their browser.

2

Request & authorize

They pick a song or a mic dedication and authorize the amount — Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card.

3

You decide

Accept captures the payment. Decline releases the hold automatically. Your set, your rules.

For DJs

Everything a paid set needs.

No laptop juggling, no cash envelopes — the whole flow lives in one app.

Live request queue

New paid requests appear in realtime with the guest's note and table.

You set the prices

Minimums for songs and dedications, adjustable live between tracks.

One QR per event

Start an event, put the QR on the booth — and close it any time with one tap.

Get paid your way

Stripe Connect payouts to your bank, or manual bank transfer if you prefer.

Push notifications

Know the moment a new authorized request lands, even with the phone pocketed.

Wait-time promises

Guests see honest wait estimates that you control — fewer "when's my song?" moments.

For guests

No app. No risk.
Just the song.

The request page runs in the browser and payments are held — not taken — until the DJ says yes.

Payments you can trust

Held, not taken.

Every request is a payment authorization processed by Stripe. The money is captured only after the DJ accepts — a declined or expired request releases the hold automatically. Works in your venue's currency, wherever you play. No tabs, no IOUs, no chasing anyone after the set.

FAQ

Good questions.

Do guests need to install anything?

No. The QR opens a mobile web page — guests request and pay from their browser.

When is the money actually taken?

Only when the DJ accepts. Until then it's an authorization (a hold) on the guest's card or wallet.

What happens if the DJ declines?

The authorization is cancelled automatically. Banks and wallets typically remove the hold within a few days.

What does BeatRequest cost?

There's no subscription. BeatRequest takes a platform fee on accepted requests — DJs keep the rest. Declined requests cost nothing.

How do DJs get paid out?

Through Stripe Connect directly to your bank, or via manual bank transfer arranged with our team.

Can I close an event?

Yes — one tap in the app. The QR stops accepting new requests immediately, and anything still pending stays in your queue to accept or decline.
